Much like a page out of ancient Greek mythology, Nico and Cathy Tsantilas' adventures with restaurants are truly epic.

In 1983, Nico brought his Mediterranean flavour to the heart of Canada's Rocky Mountains. Nico met his wife Cathy and shortly after the two found themselves with a brand new business venture, a restaurant in Golden, and a little one on the way. The young couple made the decision to move to Vancouver Island, where Cathy went back to school to take in all she could about running a restaurant. The rest, as they say, is history.

Twenty-some years later, the Tsantilas' and their restaurant are mainstays in the East Kootenays.
